FUNCTION: 70W, bird bath de-icer with thermostat. This birdbath heater will keep the standard birdbath from freezing in winter, thermostatically controlled to operate only when necessary, will not heat up the water! Low power can ensure safe use and save electricity.
MATERIAL: The bird heater is made of heavy duty cast aluminum, easy to clean and will not calcify, rust or leave stains in the bird bath bowl. The heating element has been wrapped in cast aluminum, protect animals from scalding by the heating element.
EASY TO USE: Just place the birdbath heater in the center of your birdbath, make sure the heater is full covered by water and plug in, it will start to work. The deicer heater is heavy enough that will not drop out of the bird bath.
